Lock Haven’s final 2022 summer concert, The Clark McLane Band, set for Friday
LOCK HAVEN, PA – This Friday, the Lock Haven Summer Concert Series closes out the summer with The Clark McLane Band, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Grove & Main Street Stage, part of Downtown Lock Haven’s Pedestrian Mall.
The Clark McLane Band came to life in 2017 with Tom Rainey on drums, Chris Stanonis on bass, Shawn Carr on lead, and Clark McLane on lead vocals, guitar, and harmonica. The group debuted its first album “Commonfolk” in 2019.
While the band is most commonly classified as Americana, the band members “collectively abhor defining genres”, and consider their sound “electric folk”. All of the songs on their 12-track album were written by McLane on an acoustic guitar, and then the other members of the group helped refine the tunes with their own unique approach to song writing.
For more information about the Clark McLane Band, visit www.facebook.com/clarkmclaneband, and be sure to come out to the Pedestrian Walkway this Friday to hear the original songs from their album.
