State-bound Keystone 12s set Monday fundraiser for Mill Hall
MILL HALL, PA – The Keystone 12 (Major) Little League All-Star team will hold a public workout and fundraiser at the Mill Hall Little League field Monday at 6 p.m. Contributions received will help underwrite the expenses connected with the team’s participation in the Pennsylvania Little League state championships starting Wednesday in Bradford.
There will be a picture-taking opportunity, food on site, shirts available and team manager Ben Falls in a dunk tank.
The team will have its recently earned district and sectional flags flying.
The team will open play in Bradford on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. against the Section 1 champion. The eight-team tournament is to continue through Aug. 2. The winner advances to the Mid-Atlantic championships in Bristol, CT next month; the winner there advances to the 75th anniversary Little League World Series in South Williamsport in mid-August. therecord-online will be providing a live stream of the Keystone 12s games in the state tournament.
