‘Shore downs Clinton 11s in three inning marathon, 32-17

LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Jersey Shore 11-year-old softball team used a 20-run second inning on the way to a 32-17 first round win over Clinton on Tuesday evening at Taggart Park. The game ended after three innings on the mercy rule.

The win put ‘Shore into the winners’ bracket final in a 3-team field, scheduled to play at Montoursville on Wednesday. Clinton meanwhile drops into the loser bracket and will next play Thursday against the Wednesday game loser; that Thursday contest will be at Hepburn.
