Weather Service issues severe thunderstorm warning for Clinton County
STATE COLLEGE, PA – The National Weather Service office says a severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect until 6:15 p.m. on Thursday for parts of Clearfield, Centre and west central Clinton County.
At 5:57 p.m. the NWS said a severe thunderstorm was located near Keating, moving east at 40 miles per hour. The service said the storm is producing golf-ball size hail and 70 mile per hour wind gusts.
The alert says “people and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows and vehicles.
Meanwhile a tornado watch remains in effect until 11 p.m. for central and north central Pennsylvania.
