CM Clay Target Trap Team has strong season

ELYSBURG, PA – The Central Mountain Clay Target League’s Trap Team recently placed 11th overall in the State of Pennsylvania out of 29 participating schools.

According to a release provided The Record, the showing is “absolutely incredible.”

The program is only in its second season in existence. A program spokesperson said, “They are shooting right up there with the best! We are very grateful to have the depth, and skill level of coaching that we have for them. “

The coaches devote an enormous amount of their free time to these kids to help better their skills. It does not go without our huge amount of thanks and gratitude. Thank you to the coaches who came today and supported these amazing shooters! Your work with them is priceless!

Jacob Leiter ended the day with a 97/100 and Wyatt Corman ended the day with a 98/100. Although neither placed in the top three, that goes to show how difficult it is to place. You can shoot a near perfect score and not get any hardware. The team did place 2nd in their conference this season and brought home that trophy!
