State COVID case count hits two month high


HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Saturday reported 2,123 new cases of COVID-19, the most in one day since Feb. 26.

The state reported 507 residents hospitalized, up seven from Friday. Those in intensive care units numbered 69, up one from the previous day.

Clinton County reported four new cases for a total at 9,066. Centre County increased by 23 for a total of 35,482 and Lycoming County reported five new cases for a total of 28,555.

The state reported ten new deaths as the Clinton County figure remained at 126.
