Keystone Central maps plan for selecting new school board member
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA – The Keystone Central School District has posted word on filling a school board vacancy in its Region VI. That slot became open when board member/vice-president Randy Strouse submitted his resignation earlier this month as he is moving from his district which covers Lock Haven’s first and second wards and Allison Township.
Residents of Region VI with an interest should submit their application to the district office in Bald Eagle Township by 1 p.m. Monday, April 25. The school board will hold a special meeting Thursday, April 28 in the district board room at 6:30 p.m. to interview candidates and vote on a replacement that evening.
According to state law, candidates must be at least 18 years old, “of good moral character,” and have lived in the district for at least one year.
