Lady Wildcat swimmers down Shamokin, 127-20
COAL TOWNSHIP, PA – The Central Mountain Lady Wildcat swimmers added another victory to their record Thursday evening as they out swam Shamokin 127-20. The girls looked relaxed as they took to the starting blocks from the opening event and never looked back.
The Wildcats took 1st and 2nd in all three relay events. Individual winners were Abrianna Hosley in the 200 Free, Camryn Bair in the 200 IM and 100 Back, Ana Persun in the 50 Free and 500 Free, Madison Bair in the 100 Fly, Autumn Garman in the 100 Free, and Hannah Brian. Camryn Bair broke the Wildcat 100 Backstroke record in a time of 1:04.70. The previous record was set by Elyse Peterman in 2006 in a time of 1:04.71.
The girls’ team is now 8-1 and will take on Altoona Monday evening at Altoona.
