State COVID case update; three deaths added in Clinton County

HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Tuesday reported 5,766 new COVID-19 cases.

3,876 COVID patients are hospitalized in the state, up 142 from Monday and again the highest number since last spring. Those in intensive care on Tuesday numbered 873, up 37 from Monday.

Clinton County reported 26 new cases for a total of 6,012. In Centre County 64 new cases were recorded for a total of 22,800. Lycoming County added 110 new cases for a total of 19,459. In terms of cases per 100,000 people, Lycoming is recording 17,174; Clinton at 15,562 and Centre County at 14,040.
