Tuesday is election day

LOCK HAVEN, PA – “Tomorrow is election day; everybody go do your civic duty” and vote, spoke Clinton County board chairman Miles Kessinger at the commissioners’ Monday work session. Polls for Pennsylvania’s municipal election on Tuesday will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The weather forecast calls for cloudy to partly cloudy skies with a high of 50 degrees.

A final voter eligibility list shows 21,910 county residents eligible to vote next Tuesday: 11,862 Republicans; 7,215 Democrats; 2,691 others; 116 Libertarians; and 26 Green Party members.The voter registration deadline was Oct. 18.

There are two county row office contests on the Tuesday ballot, but both are uncontested for the incumbents, county treasurer Michelle Kunes and county coroner Zach Hanna.
