Clinton County 911 service out briefly
FLEMINGTON, PA – Clinton County’s 911 emergency phone system was down for about an hour Wednesday evening. Andrew Kremser, the county’s emergency services director, said the problem was with the 911 system’s regional lines and Lycoming County also experienced a brief loss of use of the 911 system.
Clinton County at the time of the outage had notified the public to utilize specific phone numbers across the county. Kremser said there were no emergencies which occurred while the lines were out. He said officials are working to determine why the 911 lines were down.
