Obituary

Micheal T. “Ming” Hand, 52, of Renovo passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021 at his residence.

Born April 21, 1969 in Renovo he was a son of Robert Hand of DuBois and Judith Williams of Renovo.

He was married to Brenda L. (Coleman) Hand on October 27, 2001. They celebrated 19 years of marriage together.

Mike was the owner/operator of Kettle Creek Inn since 2007.

He was a member of North Bend United Methodist Church.

He was president of the Sons of the American Legion. He was a member of the Elks, American Legion and the Sons of Italy all of Renovo.

Mike enjoyed coin collecting, hunting, fishing, boating, cooking, cutting wood and especially spending time with his family.

He was a man of all traits he accomplished his dreams in 2007 of owning his own restaurant serving the community he loved.

Surviving; are his loving wife; mother and father and two sons Damian (Cheyenne) Hand of Renovo and Dylan Hand of Seattle, WA also 4 step-sons; Charles Brennan of Renovo, Joshua (Mary) Brennan of Renovo, Justin Brennan of Avis and Derek (Mackenzie) Stevenson of Renovo.

Fifteen grandchildren. He had a special place in his heart for Bristol Lynn his youngest granddaughter.

He is survived by two brothers, Scott (Dori) Hand of Renovo and Robert (Allison) Hand of Seattle, WA and a sister Holly (Shelby) Greenwall of Phoenix, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Virginia and Robert Williams.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth Street, Renovo with Martha Sykes officiating.

A visitation for family and friends will he held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be private at North Bend Cemetery.
