COVID-19 Update: Clinton Up 34; Centre Up 62; Lyco Up 145
HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health Friday confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., December 25, that there were 7,194 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 597,560. The one-day increase in cases is the smallest since Dec. 7.
As of 11:59 p.m. Thursday, December 24, there were 139 new deaths reported statewide for a total of 14,857 deaths attributed to COVID-19. The Clinton County death total due to COVID-19 increased by one to 22.
Local counties’ numbers: Clinton County, up 34 to 1,775; Centre County, up 62 to 8,605; Lycoming up 145 to 5,480. Other area counties include Cameron, 131; Clearfield, 3,617; Potter, 517; and Union, 2,719.
Thus far 7.238 Clinton County residents have tested negative for COVID-19, up 21 from Thursday.
