Steel Work Well Underway for New LH Geisinger Medical Clinic

LOCK HAVEN – Construction continues for the Geisinger Lock Haven Medical Clinic in Lock Haven. Contractors are currently doing steel work and ground preparation.

Geisinger anticipates an early 2021 opening anticipated for the two-story facility.

The clinic was first announced in March of last year, the site the old Lock Haven High School football practice field at Spring and Fourth Streets, across from Lock Haven University. The new facility is part of a clinical joint venture between Geisinger and Highmark Health. Services will include a walk-in urgent care center, adult and pediatric primary care offices and imaging and lab services. The new facility is also to house physical and occupational therapy, as well as a specialty clinic with dermatology, cardiology, gastroenterology, surgery and women’s health services.
