LOCK HAVEN – The Shoreliners are a very versatile group of television and recording artists consisting of four members with a combine total of over 125 years of experience of performing for the public
This Friday the Shoreliners are sure to delight the public performing in Triangle Park as part of the Lock Haven Summer Concert Series. The concert begins at 6 p.m.
Each individual in the group is multi-talented. All of the four members play more than one instrument and the group sings in three and four part harmony. The group had originated in the Lansford, PA area in and around 1950. Since the group’s conception, they have played all over the country entertaining any and all walks of life. The Shoreliners perform for the crowd and adapts its’ performance to the particular audience it has in attendance. There is no job to small or to large for the band. Being musically versatile gives the band many opportunities for performance. On any given day you could find the band playing for weddings, club dates, amusement parks, community concerts, polka dances, fairs, block parties, bazaars, festivals, etc.
The public is invited to attend this free summer concert. Seating will not be provided, therefore, the public is asked to bring a lawn chair.

Into The Spin on the Floating Stage Sunday
LOCK HAVEN – Into the Spin will perform this Sunday on the Floating Stage as part of the Lock Haven Summer Concert Series. The concert begins at 6:30 PM.
Into the Spin was formed in 2009 by multi-platinum recording artist and Modern Drummer columnist Jeremy Hummel. Featuring vocalist Lucy Sassi, as well as the area’s finest musicians.
The band members include: Jeremy Hummel – Drums/Percussion. Jeremy is a professional drummer and instructor. He is also a clinician, studio musician and columnist for Modern Drummer Magazine. Jeremy’s most popular recorded works came with platinum-selling artists Breaking Benjamin. He was a co-founding member of the group and played on the band’s first two records, “Saturate” and “We Are Not Alone.” During his tenure the band scored two #1 hits in the Active Rock Format with “So Cold”and “Sooner or Later.”
Lucy Sassi-Vocals/Percussion. Lead vocalist, Lucy Sassi has been performing for the Northeast Pennsylvania area for over 20 years. Her dynamic vocals produce a high energy level of entertainment as she works together with the band to create an impressive performance. Music and performing have always been Lucy’s passion. Over the years, Lucy has performed with a variety of local cover bands most recently a 10-piece band Picture Perfect from Scranton, PA, opening for the Beach Boys for Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania’s 100th Anniversary Celebration and Scranton, PA’s Party on the Deck series, with guest introduction and appearance of Pennsylvania’s 45th Governor Edward Rendell. As a soloist, she has also performed at various types of venues, from nightclubs and resort events, wedding ceremonies, and corporate events.
Mike Harvey-Guitar – Mike’s love of music began at an early age, grooving to his father’s honky-tonk piano stylings, and spending many an evening drifting off to sleep to the sounds of his older brother’s rock bands rehearsing in the basement. Since coming to the Central Pennsylvania area in 1984 to attend Bucknell University, Mike has been a fixture on the local music scene. His most recent projects include the dance/rock band Tiger Tattoo, the blues/rock trio Reverend BlueJeans, and as of 2012, Into The Spin. As an avid student of all styles of music and a connoisseur of classic guitar tone, Mike strives to bring passion, fire and class to every performance.
Andy Seal-Bass/Vocals – For the last ten years, bassist Andy Seal has been a constant figure in the region of Pennsylvania’s Susquehanna Valley. As a member of the piano-jazz trio Burgess, Mitchell & Seal, he has maintained numerous steady, weekly gigs including a continuing ten-year run as the host band the Jazz Workshop at the Bullfrog Brewery, Williamsport, PA. Among his other musical experiences are two European tours including a 2006 tour with blues pianist Ann Rabson. Andy has also performed with grammy-winning cellist David Darling at the Hudson River Valley Music Festival and the JVC Jazz Festival both in New York City. He has also toured regularly and recorded with acclaimed singer-songwriter EG Kight and recently produced and contributed writing to Pennsylvania singer Ann Kerstetter’s CD, Duke St. Diary. Having earned a B.A. in both Music Education and A/V Production, Andy has served as musical director, assistant, and workshop clinician in local middle and high school programs and has also contributed music and technical assistance to several PBS documentaries and independent films.
Kevin Haile – Keyboards/Vocals – Kevin’s musical experiences began at a very young age with the piano and later expanded to percussion and guitar. He recently graduated from Indiana University of PA and earned a B.S. in Music Education. He has performed as a soloist and as a member of many groups in venues across the country including Gov. Edward G. Rendel’s inauguration in 2006, the Collegiate Band Directors National Association Convention in Washington, D.C. in 2007, and the Percussive Arts Society International Convention in Columbus, OH in 2008.
Doug Riley – Saxophones – Doug Riley is a professional saxophonist and pianist. He has also been a jazz clinician, guest conductor and adjudicator. Early in his career, he played with Camden Record’s Nu-Tones, followed by a decade with the Crosstown Bus. He’s also played with numerous big bands, including the Arlen Saylor and Buzz Jones Big Bands
Brian Leslie-Trumpet – Brian currently plays trumpet with Into The Spin, The Dave Stahl Big Band and Sacred Orchestra, The Clickard Consortium, Seasoned Sounds,The Zeropoint Big Band and also free lances throughout PA. He has studied trumpet with Sam Rovito, Dr. Michael Galloway while attending Mansfield University, Jay Saunders while attending The University of North Texas, and has also taken lessons with Joe Mosello, Eddie Severn, and Vaughn Nark. Brian currently plays a Yamaha YTR-8335LA trumpet with a Stork VMS4 mouthpiece, and a Yamaha YFH-731 flugelhorn with a Stork FLS4.
Brett Rynhart – Trombone, Percussion, Vocals – Recently voted “Sexiest Trombone Player in Pennsylvania,” Brett has been playing trombone and singing since the fifth grade and surprisingly has never taken any formal dance lessons. While attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he was an active member of the music fraternity, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, and served as director of the all-male a cappella group, Static Harmony. Since attaining his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, he has performed with several different orchestras, bands and choirs, including Seasoned Sounds, KT and the T-Bones, and the Susquehanna Valley Chorale.
