William J. Mahoney – Obituary

There will be a memorial Mass and a celebration of life for William J. Mahoney on June 29, 2019 at St. Joseph Church at 9:00 am. Internment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

William was born in Renovo on November 2, 1948. He attended St. Joseph Grammer School and played Little League baseball until the Mahoney family left Renovo in 1958. However, Bill always regarded Renovo as his home; and when the family home became available on 6th Street, Bill purchased it and visited it as often as he could.

Bill had a distinguished career at Metro-North Railroad and held the position of Director of Safety.

Bill resided in New Rochelle, NY until his death.

He is survived by his wife, Lauren, children, Stephen, William, Lyndsay and John Lawrence, a granddaughter, Maddie and sister Alice Mahoney.
