LHU Women’s Wrestling ranked 14th in national rankings; Favara ranked third

LOCK HAVEN – Freshman standout Alyssa Favara is ranked No. 3 in the nation this week at 207#, and the Lock Haven women’s wrestling team is ranked in a tie for 14th nationally.

Favara, a Johnstown, Pennsylvania native, is a perfect 14-0 on the season.

Earlier this week, Lock Haven fell to King University, 34-15. King jumped up to No. 2 in the nation in this week’s poll.

The Bald Eagles will travel to Cedar Falls, Iowa, on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 10-11, to compete in the National Duals.
