Solid Second Half Propels Williamsport over Lady Wildcats

WILLIAMSPORT – The Lady Wildcat basketball team hit the road tonight to face the Lady Millionaires and were sent home with a 91-54 loss.

Williamsport now 9-9 on the season, held a 38-27 halftime lead, then really got the offensive wheels rolling in the second half, outscoring Central Mountain 56-24 in the second half to roll up the win.

Avery Baker and Mia Kopysciansky recorded 16 points each for the Lady ‘Cats with Morgan Wetzel scoring 7 and Quinlynn McCann with 6. Katies Burrows, Summer Flanagan and Reese Doyle scored 2 points each for CM.

The loss takes Central Mountain to 0-19 on the season, 0-11 in PHAC play.

The Lady Wildcats will next host Central Columbia on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019.
