Eugene K. Funk – Obituary
Eugene K. Funk, 85, of Leidy Twp., passed away Monday, November 26, 2018 at Bucktail Medical Center, S. Renovo.
He was born October 30, 1933 in Lewistown a son of the late John and Helen (Toot) Funk.
Eugene was married on June 24, 1978 to the former Mary F. Cowfer. They celebrated 40 years of marriage together.
He worked for CNG now Dominion in management and retired in 1985.
Eugene was a member of the Masonic Lodge #495, Elks, American Legion and the Moose all of Renovo. He was a member of Seventh Street United Methodist Church.
Eugene served in the Navy during the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife, one step-daughter, Mary E. Woodworth of Cambridge Springs, PA also a step-son Calvin L. Funk of North Bend.
He is survived by two step grandchildren, Eugene Woodworth and Melissa McCorkle and four great grandchildren.
Two brothers Calvin Funk of Hammersley Fork and John Funk of Williamsport.
He was preceded in death by three brothers a half-brother and also two half-sisters.
Also surviving is a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment at New Maple Grove Cemetery, Leidy Twp.
