Steve M. (Snake) Gallagher -Obituary

Steve M. (Snake) Gallagher, 55, of 41 Hickory Drive, Lock Haven,  passed away November 3rd surrounded by family at 1:55 am.

He was born in Lock Haven, January 10th 1963 to Michael J. and Doris J. Gallagher. He was united in marriage to Tina R. Adrian on Sept. 23rd 1989.  She survives at home.

Steve was a graduate of Lock Haven High School, class of 81’. Steve worked at Hammermill in Lock Haven from 1981 till closing. He then became employed at PennDot as an equipment operator till present day.

Steve was an avid hunter and enjoyed watching Nascar and football in his free time. His favorite teams were Penn State and the Pittsburgh Steelers. His favorite Nascar driver was Tony Stewart. His other hobby was participating in rattlesnake hunts. He was a member of the Keystone Reptile Club. He also enjoyed riding his Harley with friends and family. Spending time at the “Snake Den” with family was also one of his favorite things to do.

In addition to his wife Tina, he is survived by his mom and dad; Mike and Doris Gallagher of Mill Hall, his two sons; Stevie (Kaila) Gallagher of Lock Haven and Bo Gallagher. Also surviving is one brother, Dale (Kelly) Gallagher of Mill Hall. He was also blessed with 4 nieces; Megan, Hannah, Katie, and Brooke, 5 nephews; Brent, Brock, Dalton, Gavin and Jayden. He also has 4 great nieces and nephews; Braelinn, Autumn, Rhett, and Cannon.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Harry and Mildred (Mema) Gallagher and John and Ester  Gallagher and his Uncle Bob Gallagher.

Family and friends will be received at the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services 121 W. Main St. Lock Haven, PA., on  Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
