Rosetta L. Vuocolo – Obituary
Rosetta L. Vuocolo, 75, of Cresmont Drive, Lock Haven, passed away at her home on Saturday, August 11, 2018.
Rose was born in Mill Hall on January 4, 1943, the daughter of the late Charles and Mildred Jeirles Dauberman.
She was a graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School.
On December 27, 1960, she married Leo W. Vuocolo, whom survives.
Along with her husband, Rose helped run their family business, Leo’s Italian Specialty Foods, for many years until her retirement.
She was a devout member of Holy Spirit Catholic Parish of Lock Haven, attending St. Agnes Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the church choir.
Rose was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and cherished the time she spent with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Lori Vuocolo (Craig Stark) Casilio, Kelly (John Cattoni) Vuocolo and Beth Vuocolo, all of Lock Haven; a brother, Charles “Chuck” Dauberman; four sisters, Donna Heckel, Sandy Wian, Ann Webner and Bonnie Cucinella; and six grandchildren, Rocco and Kyler Stark, Gunner Markert, Mia Vuocolo Barzona and Brooke and Morgan Russell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Caprio; and a grandson, Sammy Casilio.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 10:30a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven, Pa 17745 with Rev. Father Joseph Orr officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery, Lock Haven.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. with a wake service beginning at 7:45 p.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
