Court House Needs a Little TLC

ch-paint-A-140331 ch-paint-B-140331LOCK HAVEN — The winter has taken a toll on the outside walls of the Clinton County Courthouse. Paint has peeled off on sections of both the east and west sides of the building to the point that the original brick surface can be seen. County commissioner Jeff Snyder, contacted by The Record, said the building’s appearance is a low priority item at this point; he did not say if there is a timetable to address the matter. He did note two county maintenance employees on Monday were able to get back to the new location for the Renovo area district court office. Renovation work there had been halted over much of the winter due to other maintenance responsibilities.
