10th Hyner View Trail Challenge Complete
HYNER – The 10th Annual Hyner View Trail Challenge was held on Saturday. In all, 1,293 participants finished the course.
The race consists of two courses, 25k and 50k with 935 racers completing the shorter version and 258 completing the double-your-fun version.
The first place overall winner in the 25k was Matt Lipsey of Kersey, PA who finished in 2:12:17.92.
The first female runner to finish the 25k course was Sara Keys of Lake Placid, NY who finished 10th place overall with a time of 2:37:40.76.
The top male racer hailing from Clinton County was Mike Hastings of Lock Haven with a time of 2:35:49.00 and finished seventh overall.
Top female runner from Clinton County was Jessica Zozos of Mill Hall in 3:03:39.54 and 46th overall.
In the 50k version of the event, Michael Daigeuan of Philadelphia completed the long course in 4:32:11.98.
Rebecca Lewandowski of Elkton, MD was the top overall female runner in the 50k crossing the finish line in 5:10:12.18.
Top Clinton County residents in the 50 k were: Scott Bair of Mill Hall finished 19th overall in a time of 5:31:51.38 and Kimberly Kwiatek was the top female racer from Clinton County, also of Mill Hall finished in 7:23:30.59 and was 161st overall.
