A Recycling Mess
LOCK HAVEN – Employees of the Clinton County Solid Waste Authority had to make an extra trip, the holiday discards of refuse were so much at the Lock Haven recycling center off Park St. this morning. The pictures of dropped off items actually came after the crew had arrived and already made one trip. An authority spokesman said the post-Christmas drop-offs are always the worst, some of the material legitimate items for recycling some items inappropriate for recycling. The authority maintains some 22 drop-off points across the county and the spokesman said this Lock Haven site and the one in Pine Creek Township traditionally the hardest hit.
