Bucks Finish Strong over Carson Long 49-8

bucks-footballFARWELL – It was Senior Night at Bucktail and the 12 Bucktail seniors celebrated on every touchdown as they won 49-8 over Carson long for the second time this season. It started with Anthony Intallura scoring from 12 yards out as he added two more touchdowns in the second half from 40 and 20 yards out. Then Mike Casper hit Josh Marr for a 24 yard touchdown pass as the Bucks added a safety to end the first quarter 15-0.

Then the future running back for Bucktail freshman Blake Cannon had a 20 yard touchdown run right at the beginning of the second quarter, the Bucks leading at halftime 22-0.

Then it was freshman Tanner Riggle scoring from 34 yards out to end the third quarter as the game was into the mercy rule. In the fourth quarter Bucktail coaches allowed the seniors to have their glory of running the ball as Collin Spencers showed his high stepping into the end zone from 24 yards. Carson Long finally did get on the scoreboard as they completed a 22 yard pass into the end zone.

The Bucks finished the final play with a safety as they started celebrating their senior night with their families. Brice Cannon was having a good night on kicking the extra points as he finished 3 for 7 on kicks. Sophomore Logan Long of Bucktail had an interception in the second quarter.

 Bucktail finished the season strong on two straight wins to finish 4-5 and second in the All-American Conference as CMVT took first.
