Dr. Aaron W. Stover, 83, of Loganton passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Haven Skilled Rehabilitation and Nursing, Lock Haven.

Born on January 10, 1932 in Mill Hall, he was the son of the late Aaron W. and Beatrice Hoy Stover.

Dr. Stover was a 1949 graduate of Mill Hall High School. He then attended the University of Pittsburgh, graduating from the University of Pittsburgh Dental School in 1955.

On June 27, 1951 he married the former Kathryn J. Miller who survives.

Dr. Stover served in the United States Air Force, earning the rank of Captain. He was Flight Surgeon at Bowling Air Force Base.

Dr. Stover and his wife practiced dentistry together for 37 years.

In 1992 Dr. Stover and his wife moved to Loganton from Fort Washington, Maryland.

Dr. Stover was Protestant by faith.

He was a life member of the American Dental Society, Maryland State Dental Society, LaFayette Lodge 0199 F.&A.M. 32 Degree, Lock Haven, and the Shriners International, Almas Shriners, Washington, D.C.

In addition to his wife Kathryn, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. David W. and Rill Stover, of Owings, Maryland; a brother-in law and his wife, Grant and Jeanne Miller; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many good friends.

Dr. Stover was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Rowles and a son-in-law, John Rowles.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
