New Gallagher Township Well in the Offing

WOODWARD TOWNSHIP—Heavy duty gas field rigging has been traveling down Mill Hill Lane and up the Coudersport Pike in the last week or so, part of the first new gas well construction in sometime in Clinton County. The Record has learned that Range Resources is assembling gear for a well site off the Queen’s Run Road in Gallagher Township, in an area the locals call “the Mohawk.” Crews have been controlling traffic from Route 150 in Dunnstown while the mammoth rigging pieces make the turn for the trek ultimately up the Swissdale Mountain.
