June Verdena Fultz – Obituary

ObitArtJune Verdena Fultz, 95, of 414 Bald Eagle Mountain Rd., Mill Hall, passed away Friday, July 10, 2015 at Haven Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, Lock Haven.

June was born in Port Matilda on July 8, 1920, the daughter of the late Frank and Vesta Flick Dixson.

In 1937, she married Grover Fultz, who preceded her in death in 2003.

June spent her life as a homemaker and was an avid cake baker in her earlier years. She also enjoyed crocheting, working outside at her home and had a special love for children, especially her grandchildren whom she often babysat.

June is survived by a daughter, Gloria Keller of Lock Haven; a sister, Bernice Fields of Warriors Mark; nine grandchildren: Terri Chapman, Perry Knarr, Lori Priddy, Danny Fultz, Christine, Dawn, Angela, Kelly and Tammy; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sons, Thomas, Barry and Roger Fultz; three grandchildren, Tommy and Timothy Fultz, and Bobbie Ann Carnell; two brothers, Raymond and Melvin Dixson; and two sisters, Beulah Grace Dixson and Dwella Williams.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa 17745. Private burial will be at Hayes-Fearon Cemetery, Beech Creek.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of the service.
