SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT- The 2025 Mid Penn Conference all-star selections were made on Friday and the Bucktail Lady Bucks history-making season only continued to get better.

Bucktail senior Eva Sockman was named Mid Penn Conference MVP. Sockman was perfect in league play and was one of many driving forces behind a 13-2 squad that captured the conference title and advanced to the PIAA District IV 2A semifinals.

The Lady Bucks downed South Williamsport, Montgomery, Jersey Shore and Central Mountain during the regular season, before sweeping Lewisburg 3-0 in the quarterfinals. They then fell to district powers Loyalsock 3-1 in the semifinals.

That total team effort led to Bucktail head coach Alison Heiser being named Mid Penn Coach of the Year.

Sockman was also named first team player at the number one slot. Senior Lola English also earned first team honors at the number three position. South Williamsport’s Mylee Morrison completed the first team selections at the number two spot.

McKenna Bissman and Kelsie Wagner also grabbed a first team spot at number one doubles. The Montgomery duo of Avelyn Moore and Emily Miller rounded out the first team selections at number two doubles.
