Woodward Supervisors Discuss Solicitation, Possible Ordinance

WOODWARD TOWNSHIP – Woodward Township Supervisors briefly discussed solicitation within the township.

“We can draft an ordinance for no solicitation in the township,” Supervisor Kyle Coleman stated. “I know I certainly don’t like being bothered at my house on a Saturday afternoon by roofing or window companies.”

From the floor, a resident mentioned that a Google Form survey could be created and added to the township website to be shared among neighbors and township residents.

Coleman accepted the idea, asking township Secretary/Treasurer Jackie Bartlett to consider adding a form to the website in the coming days regarding general public questions with regards to solicitation.

Township residents were also urged to contact the township office to urge their concerns and opinion on solicitation within the township.
