Shop with a Cop 2025: Seeking Sponsors to Brighten the Holidays for Local Children

By Ashton Peters
LOCK HAVEN — The annual Shop with a Cop program is returning to Clinton County this December, bringing together local law enforcement, emergency responders, and community volunteers to make the holidays brighter for children in need. The event will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Walmart in Mill Hall.
This cherished community tradition allows children to shop for holiday gifts alongside police officers, state troopers, rangers, and firefighters. Each child receives a $120 prepaid shopping card, creating an unforgettable experience that fosters positive relationships between youth and those who serve and protect.
Organizers are currently seeking sponsorships and donations from local businesses, organizations, and community members to make the event possible. The goal for this year’s program is to raise enough funds to support at least 35 children.
“All donations, no matter the size, directly impact local children and families,” said event coordinator Ashton Peters. “This program not only spreads holiday cheer but strengthens the connection between our first responders and the community.”
Sponsors will receive recognition through event signage, media coverage, and social media promotions throughout the program. Donations can be made by using information on the flyer listed below.
The Shop with a Cop program is organized in collaboration with local police departments, fire companies, and emergency services across Clinton County. The event is made possible through the generosity of community sponsors and volunteers who believe in making the holidays special for every child.
