Lindsay Advances to State Semifinals

HERSHEY – Central Mountain’s Addison Lindsay began her run to defend her 3A state championship in dominant fashion on Friday at the PIAA Girls Tennis Singles Championship.

Lindsay opened the tournament with a commanding 6-0, 6-0 win over Haley Miller of Manheim Township on Friday morning. She followed that performance with another impressive victory in the afternoon, defeating Cami Fisher of Bethel Park 6-1, 6-2 to advance to Saturday’s semifinals.

The reigning state champion will face Amelia Williams of Penn-Trafford in Saturday morning’s semifinal match as she continues her pursuit of a second consecutive state title.
