Ransom, Ditty, Stone, Pentz all grab D9 League honors

St. Mary’s- The District 9 League released their all-star selections along with their Region selections. Multiple Bucktail players were named, but Evan Ransom took home the biggest prize from the Bucktail representatives.

Ransom, the Bucks’ senior offensive lineman was named offensive lineman of the year in Region 4 of the D9 League. Region 4 includes Bucktail, Cameron County, Smethport, Otto-Eldred and Coudersport.

Aidan Ditty, who caught 12 passes for 122 yards and three touchdowns was named first team offense in Region 4 to join Ransom on the first team all-star squad.

Teagan Stone’s 561 yards receiving and 287 yards rushing earned him an honorable mention nod at wide receiver.

Freshman Corbin Pentz wrapped up Bucktail’s honors by grabbing a defensive honorable mention spot in Region 4.

The entire District 9 League named all-stars, which are nominated and voted on by head coaches for each specific region.
