Brady scores twice to lead Men’s Soccer to victory over California (Pa.)
CALIFORNIA, Pa. – The Lock Haven Men’s Soccer team picked up an impressive 3-1 victory at California (Pa.) on Saturday, Oct. 25.
The Bald Eagles earned an important three points in a tight Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Division race, where the Haven currently sits in third place, just a point behind Seton Hill for second. The win moves Lock Haven’s unbeaten streak to six games.
After a scoreless first half, Noah Brady got the scoring started with a 53rd-minute goal off a Kade Black assist.
20 minutes later, in the 73rd minute, Brady added another goal from Carter Rosno.
After Cal (Pa.) cut The Haven’s lead to one, Camden Marquette added insurance by finding the back of the net from a Billy Lawrence assist in the 86th minute.
Ethan Beck continues his solid season in goal, adding three saves to his season total and another goalkeeping win.
The contest featured six cautions, with five going to Cal (Pa.).
Lock Haven finished the game outshooting Cal. (Pa), 19-6, with nine shots on goal.
The Bald Eagles improve to 7-4-4 overall and 3-1-3 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West Division play.
