Optimist’s Roundtable

It’s hard to believe that it has been 24 years since the tragic event that will forever be known simply by its date, 9/11!! Many of us were glued to our television sets that day, and probably will never ever forget what we were doing or where we were that tragic morning.

Jesus tells us to forgive our enemies, and we shouldn’t keep track of how many times we forgive. Sometimes people can forgive easily, but other times some people take a long time to forgive; yet some people can never forgive.

Whatever you do on that day, September 11th, remember to thank God for His never ending forgiveness and pray for our country that something like this never happens again. I wrote this poem to share this week.
