Fire Chief Brings the Heat—and the Splash—During Fun-Filled Visit to 16th St. Park Program

By Kevin Rauch

Renovo Fire Department station # 29 Chief Ted Hill was the perfect visitor on a sunny day at the 16th St. Park program on Thursday for all the kids that attend the daily program.

In addition to a quick lesson on how fire trucks can carry and can distribute water, the fun really began after the chief turned on the hose and created an impromptu water fountain for the kids to all jump around and run through .

The park program, under the supervision of site manager Cheyenne Casper have been a constant site throughout town this summer not just at the 16th St. Park but also as they walk through town visiting area businesses and just about anywhere and educational opportunity arises.

Cheyenne is joined by Bucktail High School students Eva Sockman and Colin Bixler as her assistants.
