Keystone Majors Capture Section 3 Championship, Advance to States
ATHENS – The Keystone 10-12 Majors All-Stars secured the Section 3 championship on Tuesday night with a hard-fought 4-3 win over Selinsgrove, punching their ticket to the Pennsylvania state tournament.
Keystone battled back from an early deficit, tying the game in the top of the fourth inning thanks to a single by Hunter Kisko and a sacrifice fly by Jaxon Orndorf. The team added runs in the fifth and sixth to take the lead and held on late to seal the win.

Hits for Keystone came from Giovanni Cej, Adam Meyer, Carter Leone, and Hunter Kisko, each collecting one hit.
Carter Leone delivered a solid performance on the mound, going the distance while striking out four, walking none, and allowing five hits and three runs.
With the victory, Keystone advances to the eight-team state tournament, which begins Monday, July 21, and runs through July 27. The tournament will be hosted by Section 2’s District 9 representative, Fairchance Little League.
