MILL HALL – Bucktail Medical Center held their annual Golf Tournament fundraiser Sunday at the Clinton Country Club.
According to Kevin Ransom, Director of Social Services at Bucktail Medical Center, 172 golfers were registered for the event amounting to 43 teams.
It is estimated that between $10,000 and $12,000 will be raised to benefit the medical center thanks to golf registrations and in-kind donations made during the event.
“We run this golf tournament as a fundraiser and as a celebration of the Renovo Community spirit. As a community owned hospital we receive a fair amount of support from the people Western Clinton County. This event acts in part as a thank you to all of those people and vendors that support us throughout the year. We want to make sure each and every participant enjoys a wonderful day on the course, eats a good meal and laughs with all of the great people that are present at this event,” Ransom said.
“This is currently the largest golf tournament held at Clinton County Club. Each year we have the goal to make the tournament larger and more enjoyable. The BMC Tournament Committee thanks Mr. Brady Williams (Club Pro), Billy Edwards (Owner of Clinton County Club), the staff of Clinton Country Club and Haywoods on the Green and all those that supported our efforts. The Renovo Community Spirit is alive and well.”
