Keystone 9-11 All-Stars Blank Loyalsock in 12-0 Victory

LOYALSOCK – After a one-day delay due to weather, the Keystone 9-11 year old All-Stars returned to the field Thursday night and delivered a dominant 12-0 win over Loyalsock in just four innings.

Keystone’s offense came alive early, putting up runs in each of the first three innings before sealing the game in the fourth. They tallied 14 hits in the victory.

Offensively, Mason Quick collected two hits, while Callen Bechdel added a triple. Cael Day contributed two hits including a double, and Hunter Packer and Aldin DeMarte each added a hit, with DeMarte’s going for two bases. Deagen Stover blasted a home run, and Beau Phillips chipped in two hits, including a double. Hudson Foltz and Easton Wright each added a hit, with Wright notching two on the night.

On the mound, Aldin DeMarte was in command, going the distance. He threw a no hitter striking out five and walking one.

With the win, Keystone advances to play Friday night at Hepburn Lycoming, where they’ll take on the winner of Montoursville vs. South Williamsport.
