Keystone 10-12 Softball Falls to Wall 9-7
HUGHESVILLE – The Keystone 10-12 Softball All-Stars saw their postseason run come to an end Monday night, falling 9-7 to Wall in a back-and-forth contest.
Wall struck first with a run in the opening inning and added to their lead throughout the game, scoring in five of six innings and finishing with 12 hits. Keystone battled hard, taking a 6-3 lead after three innings, but Wall responded with three runs over the final two innings to pull ahead for good.
Keystone tallied 7 runs on 6 hits with a balanced offensive effort. Tori Peters led the way, going 2-for-2 with a triple and three RBIs. Madison Edwards, Gemma Braunns, Willow Phillips, and McKenna Phillips (double) each recorded hits.
Peters also pitched the full game for Keystone, striking out nine and walking five.
With the loss, Keystone has been eliminated from the postseason. Wall will move into a championship game against Jersey Shore GSV.
