Lady Bucks Dominate Oswayo Valley at Home 10-2

FARWELL – The Bucktail Lady Bucks used a six-run fifth inning and a dominant pitching performance from Carrie Ditty to secure a 10-2 home win over Oswayo Valley on Thursday.

Ditty was in command throughout the game, striking out 10 while allowing just one hit and two runs over seven innings. She also helped her own cause with a hit at the plate.

Bucktail’s offense came alive in the fifth, breaking open a 3-1 game with six runs. Lola English led the way with two hits and two RBIs, while Kendall Wagner added a hit and 3RBIs on the day. Makenna Stone and Matti Mason each added a hit to support the Lady Bucks’ offense.

Oswayo Valley pitcher Eva West took the loss, giving up 10 runsβ€”nine earnedβ€”on six hits. She struck out nine and walked 10.
