Tasselli Announces Candidacy for Bald Eagle Township Supervisor

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Hello. My name is Steve Tasselli, your incumbent Bald Eagle Township Supervisor. I am seeking your support and your vote for reelection.

With strong local community roots, I was born, raised, and educated in Clinton County, having graduated from Lock Haven High School and Lock Haven University. I am a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, as well as a lifetime member of the Sons and Daughters of Italy, where I hold the position of Secretary of the Building Association.

With fluent financial and business acumen, I retired from Jersey Shore State Bank, having most recently held the position of Senior Vice President, Senior Lending Officer. I am a current Board Member/Director of Journey Bank, Bloomsburg, PA. Beyond Board Membership, I am also a Committee Member of both the Asset Liability and Executive Management Committees, as well as the Vice Chairman of the Lending Committee.

A lifelong resident of Clinton County, I moved to Bald Eagle Township in 2003. I joined the Township as Auditor and Elected Chairman in 2018 at my first meeting. Upon request in 2019, I became a Supervisor, and was subsequently officially elected in 2020. I presently hold the title of Chairman of the Bald Eagle Township Supervisors.

Upon joining the Board of Supervisors, I utilized my business skills to update and streamline the Business Office. I personally worked to fill numerous vacancies on the township boards with quality, hardworking, and dedicated residents. Through this effort and these individuals, Bald Eagle Township has gained efficiencies and streamlined its daily business function and its service to the community. In conjunction with our educated and licensed team of professional employees, we have eliminated waste, upgraded operations and equipment, which enabled a more comprehensive and responsive environment.

Our township has not raised taxes in decades, with no increases being projected for future. Our budget has been consistently accurate, providing a surplus of funds which aids in the support of its citizens. We have eliminated millions of dollars of debt, while still building reserves. These reserves are invested in secure, interest yielding instruments through the state system. Of particular interest is a safe, secure, guaranteed certificate of deposit at a local township bank.

Bald Eagle Township is diverse and growing. From our business and industry, to our residential housing growth and development, we have a past to be proud of and a future to look forward to.

Please help me to keep our successful team together and intact. I humbly ask for your assistance by casting your vote for me, Steve Tasselli, for Bald Eagle Township Supervisor on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.
