Central Mountain Boys Falls to Williamsport

MILL HALL- The Central Mountain boys basketball team wrapped up their regular season on Tuesday night, hosting Williamsport in a non-conference matchup. Despite a strong second-half effort, the Wildcats fell to the Millionaires 76-62.

Williamsport came out firing, building a 22-12 lead after the first quarter and extending it to 37-22 at halftime. Central Mountain responded after the break, outscoring Williamsport 19-15 in the third quarter, but the early deficit proved too much to overcome.

Micah Washington led all scorers with 30 points for the Millionaires, while the Wildcats were paced by Hunter Hoy’s 26-point performance. Darius Shade added 14, and Caleb Mahoney contributed 7 points, with Noah Wells chipping in 6. Blake Walker finished with 4 points, while Max Verrelli and Jeremy Reese each added 3 to round out Central Mountain’s scoring.

With the loss, Central Mountain finishes the regular season with a 9-13 record.
