Obituary – Sandra L. Watkins
Sandra L. Watkins, 74, of Woolrich passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born January 19, 1951 in Lock Haven, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Meriam Donahay, Sr.
Sandy was a 1968 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
She was married to Charles Watkins, Sr. who preceded her in death in 2022.
Sandy was employed at Woolrich Woolen Mills, Woolrich until its closing.
She was a member of the Sons of Italy, Loyal Order of Moose and Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Sandy enjoyed thrift store shopping and playing cards. She loved her yearly trips to visit her daughter in Virginia.
Surviving are her children: Chalsie (Dwane) Paul of Virginia, Charles (Rhonda) Watkins, Jr. of Mill Hall and Amanda Chaplain (Thomas Shadle) of Avis; her sister, Anna Clements of Lock Haven; four grandchildren: Michael and Andrew Paul and Jenessa and Jadyn Watkins; and her beloved German Shepherd, Myia.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harold “Sonny” Donahay.
Services will be held at her family’s convenience.
