Central Mountain Girls Fall to Selinsgrove
MILL HALL – The Central Mountain girls basketball team hosted a tough Selinsgrove squad on Saturday night but struggled to keep pace, falling 51-28.
The Lady Seals jumped out to an 18-6 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, using a balanced offensive attack to control the game. Lissa Kruskie led Selinsgrove with 16 points, while Madi Merrell added 15.
Central Mountain had contributions from multiple players, with Camdyn Weaver and Ava Doyle each scoring eight points. Taylor Doyle added seven, and Lena Walker chipped in five.
The loss evens the Lady Wildcats’ record at 8-8 on the season. They will look to bounce back on Wednesday when they host Shikellamy in another Heartland Conference matchup.
