Benton Secures 53-41 Victory Over Bucktail

FARWELL – The Bucktail Lady Bucks battled Benton at home on Friday night in a game that tested their resilience. Bucktail came out strong, scoring 12 points in the opening quarter, but Benton kept pace with a 10-point effort of their own, setting the stage for a competitive contest. In the end the Lady Bucks feel to Benton 53-41.

Turnovers proved costly for Bucktail, as Benton capitalized on mistakes to gradually pull ahead. Missed opportunities on offense and difficulties securing defensive rebounds allowed the visitors to extend their lead as the game progressed. Despite flashes of strong play, Bucktail struggled to find consistency, leading to a frustrating night for the home team.

Kendall Wagner led the Lady Bucks with 17 points. Eva Sockman provided a spark adding 12 points. Arionna Winkleman contributed 8 points while Matti Mason chipped in 4 points in her supporting role.

Bucktail will aim to bounce back on Tuesday when they host Neumann Regional Academy, hoping to return to the win column.
