Input Needed for Walking & Biking in Lock Haven
LOCK HAVEN –The City of Lock Haven is working to provide residents and visitors of all ages and abilities more opportunities for walking, biking and wheeling. To understand the needs and desires of the community, City Staff is inviting the public to fill out their online survey (link and QR code below). This input will inform the city on the areas the residents want to see improvements for navigating the community without a vehicle.

Paper copies of the survey are available at Lock Haven City Hall (20 E Church Street) and Downtown Lock Haven, Inc Office (205 E Main Street). Please return all surveys to Lock Haven City Hall.
A 20-member Committee will guide the ongoing development of the City’s Active Transportation Plan which is scheduled for adoption in September 2025. The Steering Committee is made up of a diverse group of key community representatives and City staff who will work closely with the Consultant Team from Thomas R. Harley Architects to plan for biking, walking, and transit infrastructure improvements over the next decade. The Plan is funded by the City of Lock Haven, Clinton County Government, and Pennsylvania Department of Health’s WalkWorks Program administered by the Pennsylvania Downtown Center.
