LHU Women’s Indoor Track & Field opens 2025 schedule
SUSQUEHANNA – The Lock Haven women’s indoor track & field team returned to action after the holiday break by competing in the River Hawk Invite and Nittany Lion Open on Saturday (Jan. 18).

Aubrey Sechrist led the way for The Haven, with a time of 1:41.00 in the 600 meters, placing her 11th against a field of Division I athletes.
Regan Irons secured a mark of 1.60 meters in the High Jum, good for 10th place. This is her second time this season hitting the PSAC qualifying mark.
At the Nittany Lion Open, the 4×400 meter team of Nicole Carroll, Elizabeth Shultz, Sechrist and Makayla Grace Weber ran a 4:14.38, which, as of now, is the eighth fastest time in the PSAC.

Mallory Eck and Clarrisa Davis both stood out at the River Hawk Invite. In the shot put, the duo placed third and fourth, respectively, with marks of 11.39 meters (37-4.25) and 11.30 meters (37-1).
Laurie Thompson placed sixth in the weight throw with a mark of 13.18 meters (43-3).
Kelci Carle and Alexanne Fite both made the finals in their respective events. Carle placed sixth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 10.28. Fite placed seventh in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.44 and doubled back in the 400-meter with a time of 1:05.65, placing sixth.

The Bald Eagles return to action on Friday, Jan. 24 when they travel to Philadelphia, Pa. (The Ott Center) to compete in the Winter Evening Invite at the University of Pennsylvania.
