LHU’s Gwen Lloyd leads the way for Women’s Cross Country
Geneseo, N.Y. – The Lock Haven women’s cross country team competed today (Saturday, Oct. 19) at Geneseo’s Mike Woods Invitational and leading the way was Gwen Lloyd who placed 54th of 372 finishers in a time of 23:09.8 (6K).
Kierston Lloyd ran 25:09.4 (209th) for The Haven women.
Ella Bray (27:15.0; 315th), Madalyn Farrer (27:37.8; 323rd) and Ashleigh Aukerman (27:41.3; 326th) rounded out Lock Haven’s top-five finishers.
The Haven women found themselves ranked No. 9 this week in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II Atlantic Region poll.
Lock Haven will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 26 at the 2024 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships, hosted by Kutztown University.
