Central Mountain Golf Finishes Regular Season at Susquehanna River Rivalry
MILL HALL-The 4th annual Susquehanna River Rivalry brought the regular season to a close for the Central Mountain golf team, as they hosted Jersey Shore and Sugar Valley at the Clinton Country Club (CCC) for an 18-hole match. Jersey Shore, led by medalist Ryan Ault, repeated as winners of the rivalry, posting a team score of 323. Ault’s individual score of 75 was the best of the day.
Central Mountain was led by senior standout Stevan Fisher, who continued his consistent play by shooting an 81. Evan Walker and Jamison Beachy both contributed solid scores of 83, helping Central Mountain finish second with a team score of 334. Sugar Valley finished third, with a combined score of 472.
With the regular season now behind them, Central Mountain sets its sights on postseason play. Next up is the sectional tournament at Sinking Valley Golf Course, where the team will aim to advance to district competition.
